It was stated that he was transferred to intensive care unit due to tachycardia and cardiac arrest and died the next day. Acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) was prescribed as the cause of temporary death. It was stated that the patient was a smoker.

The 61-year-old patient, who died, received the first dose of the vaccine 12 days before the death (on March 16). During the observation process, it was learned that the patient did not have any complaints.

On the other hand, in Hong Kong on March 24, the use of the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine was suspended due to a defect in the caps of the vaccine bottle at a batch.
