13 deaths after vaccination in Hong Kong

According to the report of The Standard newspaper published in Hong Kong, the number of people who lost their lives after vaccination has reached 13 in the country where vaccination has been going on for a while.

Sinovac and BionTech vaccines are used in Hong Kong. According to the detail in the news, 11 of those who died after vaccination were Sinovac and 2 were Biontech vaccines.

The Ministry of Health continues research and evaluation studies on people who lost their lives. Until now, there is no evidence that the cause of death of the patients was due to the vaccine.

The Ministry directs the cases to the Clinical Case Evaluation Expert Committee, which follows the Covid-19 vaccination.

It is stated that the last person who died was 61 years old and died days after receiving the Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine.

In the news, the patient was admitted to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital due to chest pain and left shoulder pain on March 27. It was stated that he was transferred to intensive care unit due to tachycardia and cardiac arrest and died the next day. Acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) was prescribed as the cause of temporary death. It was stated that the patient was a smoker.

The 61-year-old patient, who died, received the first dose of the vaccine 12 days before the death (on March 16). During the observation process, it was learned that the patient did not have any complaints.

On the other hand, in Hong Kong on March 24, the use of the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine was suspended due to a defect in the caps of the vaccine bottle at a batch.
