Hi I have been on the 5 2 plan for 5 weeks now and have lost 9 lbs Now in the 12 stone bracket for the first time in 5 years since my little girl was born More than that I feel fitter than I have done for a while I enjoy my fast days and also have enjoyed my food more on non fast days That sounds very much like you have a plan Yes the two fasting days definitely help break habits as I ve found during my time on the 5 2 I ve now lost nearly 7Kg in just under 7 weeks without trying too hard but had as mentioned in my last post hit a wall of late not while out on my bike I hasten to add haha
